Planned Giving

Planned giving is one of the most convenient, valuable and tax-favorable ways for supporting the work of the Pitt Memorial Hospital Foundation.

The types of planned gifts include:

You may designate your gift for a specific use or allow the Foundation to use it in the area of greatest need. A member of the Foundation's staff or board can meet with you and your financial advisor or attorney to discuss ways you can make an investment in healthcare for your community.

The Heritage Society

The Heritage Society offers the opportunity to create a personal legacy to benefit healthcare in eastern North Carolina. The society's membership is composed of men and women who have made a qualifying planned gift to the Pitt Memorial Hospital Foundation as their way of continuing healthcare excellence for their neighbors throughout this region.

Benefits of membership in the Heritage Society include Society publications that will keep you informed about the best ways to plan your estate and gain maximum tax advantages, participation in a series of estate planning seminars and recognition on the Foundation's Wall of Honor, located inside the hospital. Each year members will be invited to the Heritage Society dinner with the hospital and Foundation leaders.

If you would like further information about planned giving opportunities, please call the Foundation office at 252-847-5626 or write to the Pitt Memorial Hospital Foundation, 690 Medical Drive, Post Office Box 8489, Greenville, North Carolina 27835.
